Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty

Stanford Optics warrants to the buyer that, for a period of thirty (30) days from the date the materials are received, its products will meet the specifications expressly defined in writing, as found in its catalogs, certificates of analysis, or written proposals prepared by an authorized Stanford Optics representative.

This warranty will be void if:

1. The buyer makes any alterations to the delivered goods.
2. Less than 75% of the goods are returned to Stanford Optics.

Warranty Limitations

• End-Use Disclaimer: Stanford Optics does not guarantee the suitability of its products for any specific end-use results.
• Notification of Claims: The buyer must submit all claims regarding errors, defects, or damaged materials in writing within 30 days of receipt of the materials. Claims not submitted within this time frame will be considered waived.

Seller’s Obligations

Upon timely notice of a valid claim, Stanford Optics, at its discretion, will:

1. Replace the defective or damaged materials.
2. Issue a credit for the defective materials.

Stanford Optics reserves the right to require the return of materials for inspection. No claims will be considered unless Stanford Optics is permitted to inspect the product before its use or processing. All claims must be verified through Stanford Optics’ inspection process, and, if necessary, a third party may be appointed by mutual agreement between the buyer and seller for an independent evaluation.

Return Policy

Goods returned without prior authorization will not be accepted for credit and will be returned to the buyer at their expense.

Exclusive Remedy

The buyer’s exclusive remedy for any claims, including but not limited to breach of warranty, product liability, or negligence, is limited to monetary damages not exceeding the purchase price of the claimed product.

Exclusions of Liability

Stanford Optics shall not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use its products, regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is made.

Indemnity

In consideration of the sale of products, the buyer agrees to indemnify and hold Stanford Optics harmless from any claims, losses, expenses, or liabilities arising from the handling or use of the products, whether used alone or in combination with other substances.
