DCFA optical cable features colored optical fibers placed in a loose tube made of high-modulus, hydrolysis-resistant material filled with thixotropic water-blocking gel. A non-metallic strength member (FRP) serves as the central core, around which the loose tube and filling rope are helically twisted to form a compact, circular cable core. The core is protected by water-blocking yarn and longitudinally wrapped with water-blocking tape, followed by a layer of coated aluminum tape for additional protection. Finally, a polyethylene sheath is extruded to complete the cable, delivering excellent performance and reliability in diverse environments.
