Description
ADSS optical cable is designed with colored optical fibers placed in a loose tube made of high-modulus material, filled with thixotropic water-blocking gel for optimal protection. A central metal strength member provides structural support, around which the loose tube and filling ropes are helically twisted to form a circular cable core. Gaps within the cable core and between the core and steel tape are filled with water-blocking gel for enhanced moisture resistance. The cable features a polyethylene inner sheath, longitudinally wrapped with coated aluminum tape, and an outer flame-retardant sheath extruded over coated steel tape, offering excellent mechanical performance and fire resistance for diverse environments.
